At the heart of the AutoCanada Women’s Network is a mission to empower women to reach new heights in their careers and beyond. We understand that confidence and security are essential ingredients for success, which is why the ACWN is dedicated to providing resources, support, and opportunities for women to flourish.
When we spoke with women throughout AutoCanada, many said that cultivating a network of knowledgeable professionals with similar experiences and career paths would be incredibly valuable.
They told us that having a trusted group whose members understand their struggles – and significant wins, has made all the difference in many of their careers and that they would love to see such a group form at AutoCanada.
So we decided to take action!
I am beyond excited to announce the creation of the AutoCanada Women’s Network. It will provide a platform to promote growth and empower the women of AutoCanada, it will help them build confidence, and provide them with the security they need for success.

While the number of women employees in the automotive sector is growing, women are still underrepresented with only 27% of the workforce being women or identifying as women. It is an improved statistic compared to the 19.9% statistic reported in 2016, but we have lots more work to do.
AutoCanada is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion because we know that diverse perspectives drive innovation and excellence. Women have long been underrepresented in the automotive industry, and we believe it’s time to change that. By championing the success of women in auto, we not only strengthen our organization but also pave the way for a more inclusive future beyond AutoCanada reaching the broader automotive industry community.
